You are constantly receiving to different sources of information. It is nearly impossible to distinguish between right and wrong and be right all of the time. Listening to mentors, friends, good blogs, these are sources of information that are heavily relied upon and expected to steer you in the right direction. Yes it is normal to question what is being said. It is up to you to decide what is best for you. You make up your mind. You control your actions leading to the outcome.
Jesus's truth is dynamic and powerful. Study the words of God listen to his messages. The information the Lord provides will effect you in extraordinary ways. Your life will never be the same. The bible is trust worth and reliable.
You and I are always looking for ways to better our lives. God is the way his words are right they will lead you to a fulfilled life.
