The love of Christ is the what, how, and why for reaching the world with our speech, attitude and behavior. This will reflect our holy character and gracious love for Christ. Imitation is the purest form of flattery, we are commanded to be more like Jesus sharing His love with our neighbors. On the night of His betrayal and arrest Jesus taught us the disciples to "Love one another. Just as He loved us, we must love one another. By this all people will know that you are His disciples if we have love for one another."
Imitating Jesus looking up to Jesus as a role model is the best thing anyone can do. Those are shoes that no one will ever be able to fit witch gives us the opportunity to never stop improving.

5 1 Follow God’s example, therefore, as dearly loved children 2 and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.
