Living with an open hand.

If your house burn to the ground, your car was totaled, your boat sank, how would you react? Your attitude during these situations reveals much about your walk with the Lord and your trust in him.  

You don't own these things. In this world here on Earth you may have a title a deed or mountains of money but when you die you don't take any materials possessions with you. The things you own are all blessings in which God gives us. Yes I understand you and I work for what we have but with out God leading us in to those places the possessions we gained would not be ours. 

Why would God want us to have the things we have? We have to ponder this every once in a while. We have the things we have for a reason. There is a way that we are able to praise Gods name with the material things we have. 

Are you living with a tight grip on your possessions, or are you living with an open hand, realizing that all you have belongs to God?
