Listen things like paying bills are very important I don't think any one is going dispute that. What would you do if you where kicked out the place you live? Would this give you time to seek the kingdom of God?
When we are certain that God is with us being kicked out of the place one lives in would still be a horrible thing! But it would not be the end of the world, it would cause for a few really long days. It may be an opportunity.
God works in mysterious way. Do not be mad at God when life is falling apart, take responsibility for what is going on. Bring your issues to God and trust that He is going to get you through it and yes sometimes God allows it to get way worst before it gets better. With God there will always be light at the end of the tunnel.
